TFCDF has organized an art exhibition and discussion on promoting “social cohesion among children and youths” at Dessford estate on 16th December 2023 with the honorable chief guests’ Hon. (Dr.) Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe PC, M.P. (Minister of Justice, Prisons Affairs and Constitutional Reforms), Hon. Mr. D.M.A.P. Jayaratne,(Minister of State), Chairmen of the ONUR, and Dessford Estate Manager. Their presence signified a commitment to fostering social cohesion and addressing the concerns raised by the youth.
25 talented children emphasized the importance of social cohesion within the community through an art exhibition. And, 25 enthusiastic youths bravely raised their voices on crucial issues affecting their community including concerns about job opportunities, problems with educational access, and infrastructure challenges in the way for positive change.
