Current economic crisis has created adverse effects on many aspects of people’s life. Many families even have reduced the number of meals they cook per day and it has greatly affected on children’s nutrition. In order to make sure the children in tea plantation areas receive access to nutritious meal despite of the economic crisis, we facilitated to start a community kitchen – as a part of community response hub- in selected locations. Community kitchen in Radella estate started giving out their first meal to children age 3-5 children.
